I did NOT absolutely LOVE when I got to go purchase a new planner along with new pens. (I don't do January to December, I get new ones to go along with the school year). I also do NOT like the way it looks when I use the same pen throughout the planner therefore I do NOT do my best to only use one type pen.
Oooooo, that's a pretty planner! I, too, prefer to use one pen throughout a project/item. It bothers me when one of my recipes in my book is in a different ink :)
